Computational Scientist
Ake Lu is a computational scientist specializing in epigenetic aging and statistical genetics. Her research focuses on developing DNA methylation-based biomarkers of aging and integrating genetic and epigenetic data to identify molecular mechanisms and potential causal targets for interventions. She also applies emerging genomic foundation models to study regulatory mechanisms underlying aging.
